Harry Potter: Wizards Unite – the new Harry Potter AR game

According to an interview with Financial Times, Niantic Lab CEO John Hanke announced that the upcoming AR game will be released in the second half of 2018

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, a new Harry Potter augmented reality game, is set to launch from Niantic, Pokémon Go’s creator, and Warner Bros in 2018. “With Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, players that have been dreaming of becoming real life Wizards will finally get the chance to experience J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World.”, stated the Niantic website.

“By exploring real-world neighborhoods and cities across the globe, players will go on adventures, learn and cast spells, discover mysterious artifacts, and encounter legendary beasts and iconic characters.” the company added.
