What can be better than a refreshing cocktail to fight against the heat, you might ask. Here’s our answer: Harry Potter inspired mocktails!
We are happy to share 5 Harry Potter inspired cocktails with you, and all can be made with under 5 ingredients.
Note that the ice we used are made with our ice cube mold (Characters / Mixed) just for an extra magic touch.
Patronus
Patronus charm is a defensive spell which produces a silver, animal guardian, used to protect a witch or wizard against Dementors. For the drink we are making, it has a warm silverish color, with a fresh lemony taste.
Ingredients
- some ice
- ½ ounce of lemon juice
- Tonic water
- 1 teaspoon of Grenadine
Steps
- Put in ice in the cup
- Pour in tonic water
- Add 1 teaspoon of Grenadine for a more complex taste
- Finish with the lemon juice
- Close the lid well & give your mixture a good shake
Expecto Patronus!
Weasley
A reddish color drink to remind you of the iconic red hair of the Weasley family.
Ingredients
- Ice
- 6 ounces ginger ale
- 1 ounce grenadine
- 3 ounces orange juice
- 1 slice of pineapple (optional)
Steps
- Pour in the ingredients one by one
- Add a slice of pineapple for decoration
- Do NOT mix nor shake your jar if you want to create a gradient color effect
Lord
Although Voldemort’s eyes are white in the movies, they are described as terrifying red in the books, and hence the inspiration of this drink.
Ingredients
- 3 ounces of cranberry juice
- some ice
- 2 ounces of soda
You can choose a dark soda, or the trick is to put some drops of green, red & blue food coloring in regular soda to obtain a black color.
Steps
- Pour your ice inside the jar
- Pour in the cranberry juice
- Pour in the soda
- Do NOT mix nor shake to create 2 beautiful layers
Snape
Let’s honor Professor Snape by naming one of our drinks after him
Ingredients
- A little bit of soda
- Cranberry juice ice
- Sweet and sour mix
- Orange juice
- Grenadine Syrup
Steps
- Put ice in the jar
- Pour in Grenadine Syrup,
- Pour in soda
- Pour in orange juice
- Pour in sweet and sour mix
- Pour in cranberry juice
- Mix well
Polyjuice
Don’t worry, it’s just a name. You will not turn into someone else, well, at least not while you don’t have another person’s hair in your drink. The recipe is for 1 punch bowl.
Ingredients
- ½ gallon lime sherbet
- 2 liters lemon lime soda
Steps
- Pour in all ingredients
- Mix well
